PocketCmd is a completely client-side application. We don't collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, server credentials, or usage information. Everything stays on your device, encrypted using platform-native secure storage.
Data Storage
All your data is stored locally on your device using:
- iOS Keychain: For secure storage of passwords and SSH keys on iOS devices
- Android Keystore: For secure storage of passwords and SSH keys on Android devices
- Local Database: Connection profiles and settings are stored in an encrypted local database
We never have access to your credentials, connection details, or any other sensitive information.
What We DON'T Collect
- No personal information (name, email, phone number)
- No server credentials (passwords, SSH keys, hostnames)
- No usage analytics or tracking
- No crash reports or diagnostics
- No IP addresses or location data
- No browsing history or file access logs
In-App Purchases
PocketCmd offers premium features through in-app purchases. These transactions are processed entirely by:
- Apple App Store for iOS purchases
- Google Play Store for Android purchases
We do not collect or store any payment information. All billing is handled by Apple and Google according to their respective privacy policies:
Network Connections
PocketCmd connects directly from your device to your servers via SSH/SFTP. These connections are:
- End-to-end encrypted using SSH protocol
- Direct peer-to-peer connections (no proxy or middle server)
- Completely private and never routed through our servers
We don't operate any backend servers that could intercept or log your connections.
Third-Party Services
PocketCmd does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third-party involvement is through Apple and Google's payment processing for in-app purchases.
