Get PocketCmd
One app for your phone, your tablet and your desk. Pick your platform for what that build does, what it needs and what it doesn't do. The public builds are being published now.
Mosh and Eternal Terminal carry the session across a lock screen, a tunnel or an app restart — which is the whole problem on iOS.
The same universal build, switching to the desktop shell in landscape: sidebar, session tabs, right-click and a hardware keyboard.
Phones, tablets and Android XR, with a foreground service that holds connections open. No sideloaded APK: the Play build is the only public one.
Notarized, sandboxed, Apple silicon and Intel. The vault key is sealed in the Secure Enclave; the desktop app lock is your password.
Upgrades in place with your vault intact. TPM 2.0 backs the vault key where the machine has one.
Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12, Fedora 36 and newer. GPG-signed checksums, and nothing dropped into /usr.

PocketCmd Server
The optional companion server is one open-source Go binary you run on a machine you own. It installs itself as a background service on first run, prints a QR code, and from then on holds your chosen vaults, watches your metrics and pushes alerts to your devices. It can never read your vaults: everything is encrypted on the device before upload. The server is free and open source; pairing remains a part of Pro.
- Scan a QR to pair
- Mutual TLS and short-lived tokens
- System and custom-command metrics
- Push alerts on thresholds
- Zero-knowledge sync
- Teams with roles and invites
- Instant device revocation
- systemd and launchd service
